MEDITATION

Come and join us for our monthly Meditation Group. The first Monday of each month from 5-6pm at the Lotus Centre in Mojacar. Below find directions to the centre.
Meditation is a mental hygiene, which helps in reducing anxiety and tension and offers relief from an over-active mind.
With the continued practice of meditation, we discover a greater sense of purpose and strength of will and our thinking becomes clearer and more concentrated.
 
WHY MEDITATE.
Medical researchers have been studying the effects of meditation for a long period of time, it has been scientifically shown to aid in the treatment of conditions as varied as cancer, sleep disorders, headaches, high blood pressure, chronic pain, depression aging etc.
It has been demonstrated to bestow a variety of mental benefits ie: Greater creativity, decreased anxiety and depression, irritability and moodiness.  Improved learning ability and memory. Increased feelings of vitality and rejuvenation, happiness and emotional stability.

Directions to the Lotus Centre in Mojacar
The centre is located on the old road between Turre and Mojacar.
If you are coming from Turre, It is the next turning on the left after the cemetery, but go to the roundabout then go back on yourself and turn immediately right ON THE CORNER IS A SIGN CAMPING . You go about 100 metres the first house on the right is the centre pass the house and just behind the house you will see the sign yoga (on the left) turn right there veer right and park.
If you are coming from the Mojacar beach. Drive towards Turre As you approach Mojacar village, take the turning for Turre on the roundabout (with the statue of the Indalo man). Pass Mojacar on your left, you will come to another roundabout with sign to Parking Mojacar continue straight on towards Turre and immediately after the roundabout you take the first right hand turning, THERE IS A SIGN ON THE CORNER FOR THE CAMPING (if you have come to the turning for the Tanatoria you have gone to far) and proceed about 100 metres the first house on the right is the centre pass the house and just behind the house there is a driveway, you will see the sign yoga(on the left pointing to the right)  turn right there veer right and park.
